New Protection Task failed with "Unable to find suitable Replicator Service from site '<SiteName>'"

Issue/Introduction

• Failed to create new Protection.
• When creating a new outgoing replication an error is displayed stating:

"Unable to find suitable Replicator Service from site '<SiteName>'"

• cloud.log shows:

ERROR - [UI-######-######-######-######] [task-poller-x] com.vmware.h4.jobengine.JobExecution     : Task ######-######-######-###### (WorkflowInfo{type='start', resourceType='vmReplication', resourceId='C4-######-######-######-######', isPrivate=false, resourceName='null'}) has failed

com.vmware.h4.manager.api.exceptions.FailedToDetermineReplicatorException: Unable to find an operational replicator from site '<SiteName>'.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director Availability 4.x

Cause

After registering a Replicator Service instance, replacing the Cloud Service certificate, or upgrading VMware Cloud Director Availability in the local site, go to each paired remote site and re-pair each remote site with the local site backed by VMware Cloud Director.
