Issue/Introduction

What to do if you want to remove unnecessary network adapters from a virtual machine during Advanced Cross vCenter vMotion.

Environment

vSphere 7.0, vSphere 8.0

Resolution

A VM's network adapter will not be removed during Advanced Cross vCenter vMotion, so you must first remove it from "Edit Settings."

Procedure
1. Open "Edit Settings" for the virtual machine.
2. Click the three dots next to the network adapter you want to remove, select "Remove device," and click OK.
