Issue/Introduction

BGP failure alerts appears late in VCF Operations for Networks GUI as compared to VCF Operations (vROPS)

Cause

This is expected behavior as with VCF Operations for Networks the BGP alerts depends on the polling Interval and size of NSX Inventory where it has been seen that it can take about 2-3 hours to appear on the GUI of VCF Operations for Networks.

Apart from BGP alerts , rest all alerts in VCF Operations for Networks uses fastconfig. Hence there is a delay seen for BGP alerts being logged in VCF Operations for Networks GUI.

 

Resolution

For BGP alerts you can use VCF Operation (vROPS) GUI where is appears in around 5 minutes of the event occurrence.
