Issue/Introduction
Determining if the syslog message format forwarded from vCenter Server to a remote syslog server can be changed to RFC 3164 (BSD) standard.

Resolution
There is no supported method or configuration change available in vCenter Server to forward syslogs using the RFC 3164 (BSD) format.
