Issue/Introduction

Users may observe that the timestamps in the Univiewer Console logs do not align with their local system time. Even when logging into the application at a specific local time, the log entries appear several hours ahead or behind, reflecting UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) instead of the expected local timezone.

Example Scenario:

  • Actual Local Login Time: 9:37 AM

  • Log Entry Timestamp: |2025-11-05T14:37:06,684|INFO... (Reflecting a +5 hour offset)

Environment

  • Product: Univiewer Console

  • Version: 7.01.02

Cause

This behavior has been identified as a software defect.

  • Bug Reference: DE179957

The application incorrectly defaults to the UTC standard for log formatting regardless of the client or server's regional settings in this specific version.

Resolution

A fix for this issue is currently in development.

  • Target Version: This is tentatively scheduled to be resolved in Univiewer Console v7.01.21.

  • Delivery Date: There is currently no confirmed release date for this version.
