0CEE3501S The module libj9a2e.so was not found

Issue/Introduction

We have installed the SEMERU R21 along with the zOS 3.2 upgrade and post the upgrade VANTAGE web UI has abended with due the module libj9a2e.so was not found.

The VANWEBUI log has the following messages.

Cause

The customer is running VANWEBUI with java 8 version and it is not finding Java 8 version after the migration / upgrade.

Resolution

To make Vantage web client VANWEBUI (that is using Java 8) work, install Java 8 version and make sure that Java 8 is available for the VANWEBUI.

Or install the latest version of Vantage StoragePoint web client that is using the higher version of Java.
