Issue/Introduction

Work processes crash and generate dump files during a file transfer job

SYMPTOMS:

• Work processes terminate unexpectedly

• Dump and trace files are generated in the temporary folder

• File transfer jobs end abnormally

CONTEXT:

Occurs when an agent disconnects during an active file transfer

IMPACT:

Automation engine instability and incomplete file transfers

Cause

DE179462

An issue has been fixed where the Work Process terminated if, in certain situations, the Agent disconnect message was processed before the End message of a File Transfer job.

Resolution

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.
