You may observe the following symptoms and context:
Adding a vCenter Server succeeds initially, but the vSphere UI subsequently hangs.
Attempting to add the same vCenter Server again triggers the UI message: Configuration with specified vCenter Server hostname already exists.
Log bundles do not capture specific errors related to this freeze.
Aside from the UI freezing, all other functionalities operate normally.

This issue occurs because a firewall rule prevents full communication between VMware Aria Operations for Logs and the corresponding vCenter Server.
To resolve this issue, configure your firewall to allow the required traffic:
Establish a bi-directional firewall rule for TCP port 443.
Ensure this rule allows full communication between VMware Aria Operations for Logs and the corresponding vCenter Server.
