Issue/Introduction

The system crashes and worker processes terminate when opening the comments for a task in the Automic Web Interface after a large number of comments are added ․​​​​‌​‍

SYMPTOMS:

• System becomes unresponsive when attempting to view comments

• All worker processes shutdown and terminate

• Quarantine messages appear in Client 0

CONTEXT:

This occurs when viewing an object or task with more than 500 comments added via a prep_process_report script or similar automated process ․ IMPACT: Business operations are disrupted due to complete system unresponsiveness and worker process failure

Cause

A problem has been fixed where a large number of comments on a task caused WPs to crash, when the comments were viewed.

Resolution

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.
