Microfocus jobs encountering suberror Failed SetEnd Cmpc(5002)

Issue/Introduction

Users are having an issue with the Microfocus jobs, they are failing with the following error:

STATE SUBERROR Failed SetEnd Cmpc(5002) Status( Error processing file |E:\\SOME_JOBS\\ABCD.JCL

 

Environment

Workload Automation for Microfocus: 12.0 or above

 

Cause

The Agent is not able to access the JCL files.

 

Resolution

Check the (Windows) OS level permission of JCL, scripts, files and directories.  They must have full read-write access to the user, include any service ID that is running the jobs.
