Issue/Introduction

After installing the Automation Engine and the UC4 SNMP sub-agent, the generated SNMP traps contain incorrect information ․​​​​‌​‍

SYMPTOMS:

• The trap number is missing from the event data

• The traps contain invalid or corrupt characters

• The SNMP agent fails to create a log file

• The event viewer application log shows invalid characters for data and the trap number is missing

An issue has been solved that caused the Automation Engine (Windows) to create invalid SNMP trap information.

Resolution

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.
