Issue/Introduction

 

• When a user opens an object and switches to the Documentation panel, highlighting a portion of an existing text entry with the mouse causes the text to be automatically deleted immediately upon releasing the mouse button.

• This unexpected behavior is reproducible at will on the Documentation pane.

• The issue also intermittently occurs in other editor frames, such as the Process, Pre Process, and Post Process tabs.

• The problem is most prominent when text selection is the very first action taken with the mouse within the frame.

Cause

This behavior is recognized as a software bug and is tracked internally under Agile Central Defect DE181901.

Resolution

Update to a fixed version listed below or a newer version if available.
