Credentials Invalid error for users when trying to login to Aria Operations UI page

Issue/Introduction

• Random users will get credentials invalid error while trying to login to UI portal 
• or User will stuck at UI page with no output or error or timeout 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x
VCF Operations 

Cause

• This issue is caused due to AD not syncing at the Aria Operations UI Auth Sources tab
• Also the Last Modified date will not update, even after successful syncing in the Auth Sources tab
   
   

Resolution

Following actions needs to perform to fix this issue -

• Test the connection with the existing details as shown in the Edit Source for User and Group Import form inside Authentication Sources Tab 
  (Administration > Control Panel > Auth Sources)
• Check and update AD settings and make sure the User Name and Password are intact 
• Check the Details and change host details from Automatic to desired hostname, if Automatic option is not testing the AD connectivity successfully as shown below-
