Issue/Introduction

You would like to remove the DLP Outlook Add-In while keeping the DLP agent software installed and running on the system.

Environment

DLP endpoints with Outlook Add-In installed.

Cause

The presence of the Outlook Add-In in the Outlook add-in list is the result of the agent configuration defined on the Enforce server.

Resolution

Please update the Agent Configuration on the Enforce server as follows:

1. Channels – Disable the Outlook channel.

2. Classification – Disable Outlook.

After applying these changes, propagate the updated configuration to all agents and restart Outlook to ensure the changes take effect.
