VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0
VMware HCX 9.0.x
Starting with HCX 9.0 (included in VCF 9.0), the HCX vCenter Plug-in has been discontinued and is no longer supported for management or operations. The HCX Manager logs explicitly block the registration of the com.vmware.hcx.plugin extension.
To manage HCX in VCF 9.0 and later environments, you must use the standalone HCX Manager user interface.
Open a web browser.
Navigate to the HCX Manager FQDN or IP address:
For User Operations: https://<HCX_Manager_FQDN_or_IP> (Port 443).
For Appliance Management/Updates: https://<HCX_Manager_FQDN_or_IP>:9443 (Port 9443).
Log in using the appropriate SSO or local credentials.
For more details on product support changes in VCF 9.0, refer to the VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 Release Notes.
