Allocation model not showing in Organization VDC dashboard in tenant portal(VCD)

Issue/Introduction

While the VCD adapter status is "OK" and permissions/advanced metrics are verified, changes to the allocation model at the Organization VDC level in VCD are not reflecting within the Aria Operations UI.

Environment

Aria Operation version : 8.18.5

VCD Vesrion : 10.6.1

Cause

There is a schema mismatch in the REST API request initiated by the VMware Cloud Director (VCD) Operations Plugin. Specifically, when the VCD UI triggers the API call to Aria Operations to populate the Organization VDC (ovdc) dashboard, the request payload is missing the "allocationModel" attribute.

Resolution

Broadcom is aware of this known issue. At present, there is no available workaround. A fix is planned for an upcoming release. Kindly subscribe to this article for further updates.
