There were alarms observed intermittently when Primary hub was set in maintenance using OC maintenance schedules
UIM 23.4.4
From logs it was observed that the nas and maintenance_mode probes were stopped and the reason mentioned is having stopped the Nimsoft service on this server before OS maintenance
As nas and maintenance_mode probes are mainly responsible for maintenance activity in general for UIM if the nimsoft service gets started in between the OS maintenance activity in case the service is set to auto start and not set to manual you might get interim alarms as these probes are not syncronised with each other
Workaround is to keep the nimsoft robot watcher service not start up during any maintenance as OS might be rebooting many times .Keep the nimsoft service manual and change it to auto after OS maintenance
Also keep only any non-core probes like cdm , ntservices , ntperf on the Primary hub manually deactivated before maintenance via IM
Once the Primary hub is started up again check the nas and maintenence_mode probes get port and pid and working normally (you can view their logs in IM)
After some time you can start up the non-core probes like cdm, ntservices etc on the hub .
As the OC maintenance schedule is still active for this server boot alarms and any other alarms from the Primary hub will be suppressed as expected
