Issue/Introduction

Deleting a workload cluster results in it getting stuck in a 'deleting' phase without any errors or indication of failure.

Environment

TCA: 3.3
TCP: 5.0.1

Resolution

  1. Confirm the cluster was disassociated from the Virtual Infrastructure page in TCA
  2. Confirm the cluster appears 'green' in the TCA-CP admin (https://<TCA-CP-FQDN>:9443) UI
  3. Confirm the TCA-CP can reach the affected workload cluster
    • ping <CLUSTER-VIP>
  4. Confirm the certificate of the cluster is valid/not expired
    • curl -ikv https://<CLUSTER-VIP>:6443
  5. If all of the above are 'yes', then force delete the cluster from the TCA-UI
  6. Confirm the virtual machines are deleted from vCenter.
