Error: Contact Status Unknown devices not appearing in monitored devices

Issue/Introduction

Devices display a Contact Status Unknown state in Performance Manager but do not appear under monitored devices ․​​​​‌​‍

 

Cause

This occurs when integrating Performance Management with other data sources (Spectrum, NFA) and the device is not discovered by the Data Aggregator

Resolution

Discover the device under the Data Aggregator (DA), as the DA devices provide Contact Status
