A customer operating in Identity Governance (IG) version VApp 14.5.1 requires the system to automatically send an email notification to approvers upon the conclusion of an access certification campaign.

Does this functionality exist out-of-the-box, or is customization required to implement the email notification?Resolution

Resolution

Based on the initial review, the functionality to automatically send an email notification to approvers when an access certification campaign concludes is not available out-of-the-box.

Action Required:
Customization is likely necessary to fulfill this request.
The required solution will involve creating a custom email template and configuring the Identity Governance application to trigger this template upon the completion as well customize workpoint process event of a campaign.

For out-of-the-box functionality, Support can only suggest opening an Enhancement Request with the Product Manager. This process can be initiated by referencing the related Knowledge Article 44090 - Product enhancement requests for Identity Manager and other CA Security applications
