Is it possible to upgrade CA Plex if the model is not available?

The application source code is all that is available.

Resolution

Upgrading a Plex application can be a significant jump, involving many changes across the generators and compiler versions. For instance, Plex C++ objects must be regenerated to ensure compatibility with the latest compiler requirement.

The prerequisite for the upgrade is to have Plex Group/Local models. You need to acquire the Plex models in order to proceed with the upgrade. Upgrading generated code is not supported.
