Issue/Introduction

A "Skyline Health has detected issues in your vSphere environment" warning is displayed on the vCenter Server summary page.

Navigating to Monitor > Skyline Health displays the following warning:

Cause

This warning is displayed when the workaround described in KB 318969 is not applied to the environment.

Resolution

Consider applying the workaround (setting unknownStateMonitorPeriod to 30) described in KB 318969.

Alternatively, to ignore this warning, click the Silence Alert button and run a RETEST to clear the alert.
