Issue/Introduction

When attempting to print to JES printer PRT8, the job output is not being selected by PRT8 due to a Security nnn policy restriction.

In the JES log is:

WRITER=  $HASP186 xxxxxxxx OUTGRP=2.1.1 NOT SELECTED BY PRT8 DUE TO SECURITY nnn POLICY

Resolution

The following permit was made to the ALL record:

TSS PER(ALL) WRITER(JES2.LOCAL.) ACCESS(ALL) 

Optionally, a more specific resource name can be specified in the permit. For example:

TSS PER(ALL) WRITER(JES2.LOCAL.PRT8) ACCESS(ALL)
