Issue/Introduction
Connection error message showing under Enhanced Replication Mappings: 'Fault occurred while performing health check. Details: 'Connect: stream truncated'.
Environment
vSphere Replication 9.0.2
Cause
hbrsrv service on the hosts can go into hung or unresponsive state
Resolution
Recommend to stop hbrsrv service on target ESX which will automatically restart the service
- UI Inventory: VC>ESX>Configure>Services : Stop
- cmdline ssh: ESX: /etc/init.d/hbrsrv stop ; /etc/init.d/hbrsrv status
