Configuration Changes to IGA xpress / IM settings in ../inst/ folder are not reflected in the Environment

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading the Jboss you wanted to do some changes to default settings that were not provided in GUI or manual configuration of IGA Xpress.

You did it from /opt/brcm/iga/inst/idm/startup/templates/jboss8.0.xml and the changes were not reflected in idm.xml or Identity Manager Environment.

 

Environment

IGA Xpress v15

Resolution

Depending on the verion of Jboss 8.0 or 8.X you should do changes in

/opt/brcm/iga/inst/idm/startup/templates/jboss8.0.xml

or

/opt/brcm/iga/inst/idm/startup/templates/jboss-latest.xml with a warning that:

• Changes will be overwitten on every IGA Xpress upgrade.
• Some attributes are see as security risk and will not be provided in default configuration.
