EMAIL CALL Object Fails to Attach External Files: U00050013 Error when reading attachment file

Issue/Introduction

When using an EMAIL CALL Object in Automation Engine v24.4.0, the system fails to attach external files via the REGISTER_OUTPUT command if a LOGIN object utilizing a service account is associated with the task.

Expected Behavior: The agent should access the specified file path, attach the file to the email, and successfully send the notification.

Actual Behavior: The email task fails, and the following error is recorded in the report:

U00050013 Error when reading attachment file '/opt/awa/agents/test/test.txt' error code: 'canRead()==false', error description: 'Cannot read file'.

Environment

Automation Engine: v24.4.0 (including HF3)

Cause

Defect ID: DE177161

Resolution

The fix will be delivered in Automic Automation Engine 24.4.4, 26.0.0, 26.1.0 but there's no tentative availability date yet.
