VCF Operations for Networks

Issue/Introduction

After adding an NSX-T Manager as a data source in VMware Aria Operations for Networks, flow collection from associated vCenter Distributed Virtual Port Groups (DVPGs) appears to stop or "stall" within 24–48 hours.

While vCenter-only flow collection remains stable, the introduction of the NSX-T data source triggers an automated system task that disables IPFIX on specific DVPGs connected to NSX-T Edge transport nodes. This is a native safety mechanism designed to prevent flow redundancy and potential performance degradation on the Edges.

Environment
