Enabling Consent Banner in VMware Identity Manager fails to show consent banner text while logging in Aria products.

Issue/Introduction

Following Enable Department of Defense Notice and Consent Banner, fails to show consent banner text while logging in Aria products.

Environment

VMware Identity Manager 3.3.7

Cause

Web Browser Default access Policy is configured with Password Authentication method instead of Certificate.

Resolution

Additional steps needs to be performed along with following Techdoc Enable Department of Defense Notice and Consent Banner

1. After adding Consent Banner text and before saving the changes, ensure to check "Enable Certificate Adapter".
   
2. Go to Identity & Access Management> Policies and edit Default Access Policy.
3. Go to Configuration option and click on 3 dots for Web Browser Device Type and select certificate authentication method from drop down option.
   Refer below screenshot.
   
4. Save the changes.
