Issue/Introduction

Customized Logo Not Displayed in Preboot and Splash Screen

Environment

Symantec Endpoint Encryption 12.5HF1

 

Cause

In this case. affected machines had BitLocker encryption enabled.

BitLocker appears to interfere with the display of customized logos during the preboot and splash screen process.

Resolution

Resolution / Workaround :

Check if BitLocker is enabled on the affected device.

If enabled, disable and remove BitLocker encryption from the device.

Reboot the machine.

Verify if the customized logo now appears correctly in the preboot and splash screens.

Additional Information

If the client machine already have the SEE client installed in that case you need to uninstall the existing SEE client first then you need to install the new client  package ( which you have created with the new custom image ).
