An option in VM Overrides setting is grayed out

Issue/Introduction

• In the VM Overrides, even though an option is checked, but it's grayed out and cannot be edited.
  
  

Cause

The corresponding option is disabled in the vSphere HA settings in the cluster.

Resolution

If the option is disabled in the cluster's vSphere HA settings, the corresponding option in VM Overrides cannot be edited.
It will be able to edit by changing the corresponding option to anything other than "Disabled" in cluster's vSphere HA settings.
