How to Manually Apply a Ghost Solution Suite License to the GSS server

Issue/Introduction

When you receive a Ghost Solution Suite license file, you would normally open the Ghost Solution Suite Console, click on Help, and then click on Register.  There may be times when you cannot access the console, or perhaps you have many Ghost Solution Suite servers in your environment that need to have the license file applied.

Resolution

You can use whatever method you prefer to copy the license file into the licenses directory on the Ghost Solution Suite server.  By default, this is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Altiris\eXpress\Deployment Server\Licenses.  Restart the Ghost Solution Suite server, and the new license file will be registered.
