Need to recover the root password for NSX Manager

Issue/Introduction

• Unable to login to NSX Manager with root user.
• The root user password is not expired.
• The root user password is not known.
• Unable to access the GRUB menu as per steps in Resetting Password 

Environment

VMware NSX 4.x

Resolution

Reset the root password using the steps in the Resetting Password doc.

Note: The default user and password for GRUB is user "root" and password "NSX@VM!WaR10"

Additional Information

For NSX 3.1.x and below the default GRUB password is: VMware1
