Aria Operations nodes crash with CPU stuck conditions or Kernel Panic events

Environment

VMware Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

The latency between Aria Operations nodes in a single site deployment (non-CA) must be less than 5ms.

Aria Operations keeps a record of this latency in the file: /storage/log/vcopslogs/adapter/VCOpsAdapter/fping-stats-latency.csv

Resolution

As per the VMware Aria Operations 8.18 Sizing Guidelines, the network latency between the nodes will have to be within 5ms.

To resolve this issue, investigate and remediate the underlying cause of network latency between Aria Operations nodes.
