Issue/Introduction

For upgrade of DCS 6.9.3 Management Servers for 3rd party component upgrades

Environment

DCS 6.9.3 Management Servers
Version: DCS 6.9.3.422 and below

Cause

This DCS Hotfix upgrades 3rd party components to address version specific CVE reporting on those component versions.

Resolution

DCS 6.10.2 already incorporates the most recent third-party components, you can find details about 6.10.2 here.

How to upgrade DCS 6.9.3 to DCS 6.9.3.423

1. Make a complete backup of DCS and prepare for the upgrade
2. Stop all SIEM data integrations
3. Starting on the Primary DCS Management Server, run server.exe to upgrade the management server
4. After the primary DCS Management Server has been upgraded, you can then upgrade each tomcat only server (if you are using tomcat only servers).
5. Run console.exe to upgrade the Java Console where you have it installed.
