Issue/Introduction

When using the Archive data feature you will find that the latest month available in the archive view won't align with the same month when viewed from Cost History.

This is by design as the Archive data feature captures the Archive for a specific month on the 20th of the following month. This is to ensure that any changes to the billing data made after the billing month ends (e.g. lump sum EDP credits) are captured by the data archive.

This can be seen directly by flipping the data archive view to the daily interval, you'll note that daily continues until the 20th of the following month.

Resolution

To workaround this in reporting please ensure that when comparing the data archive that you filter out the last month available in Cost History.

For example when comparing the January 2026 data archive to Cost History, please filter out February 2026 from the report as February 2026 will only contain Cost and Usage until the 20/2/26.
