While operating on 2E, experiencing the error "Security error - The product is being executed on wrong system."
Error is due to a recent migration of the system installation which effectively resulted in a new system serial number being applied for the 2E instance.
Please submit a new license request. Licenses are unique to a given serial number and model number and cannot be transferred.
Check to see if any of the following applies:
Was there a change that could have changed the system serial number, model number, or the LPAR ID. A common change involves moving the 2E software over to a new partition or server.
Are there multiple product libraries in place? Have Y2SY or the product library in question at the top of the list, or look into the data area YLICNAM or YALCGRP and see if there is a restored library in place.
