Rally Iteration Planning Board Widget Ignores Release Filter in Custom View

 

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Custom View filtered by Release.
2. Add the Iteration Planning Board to the Custom View.

Expected Behavior

The board should display only the work items planned for the selected Release.

Actual Behavior

The board displays all work items in the backlog.

Cause

Working as designed.

Resolution

This is working as designed. This particular widget does not support page filtering.  This can be determined by the Tags on the Widget download page.  

 

We do, however, keep the page filtering accessible in case there are widgets on the page that support page filtering.  

Please use the filter included with the Iteration Planning Board Widget to sort results by Release.
