Issue/Introduction

Running Easytrieve v11.6 in compatibility mode:  is this compatible with z/OS 3.1 or z/OS 3.2?. 

Is it required that I change my Easytrieve code to work with NEWFUNC=Y and change the option to NEWFUNC=Y?

 

Resolution

No, you are not required to change your Easytrieve v11.6 code. 

Easytrieve v11.6 under true release 11.6 and in compatibility mode are compatible/certified with z/OS 3.1 and z/OS 3.2. 

Easytrieve Plus Report Generator release 6.4 is not supported at this time and so is not certified.
