Array Devices not showing firmware in Spectrum

Issue/Introduction

Array Devices not showing firmware value under Asset Information in Spectrum:

Environment

DX NetOps Spectrum all currently supported releases

Cause

The Array device has System OID (SysOID) of 1.3.6.1.4.1.7564.1.0 and is not currently certified in Spectrum. When discovered, it only appears as a Generic device (GnSNMPDev).

So the OID containing the Firmware version is not known to Spectrum and is not mapped to an attribute in NRM_RunningFirmwareAttr, which is used to display the store and display the Firmware value as per:

Resolution

Contact the vendor (Array) to identify the OID that contains the Firmware version. Then follow the process outlined in the following KBs to add it to the devices' Model_Type:
