BIND SQL ERROR for packages TIPTBAA, TIPTBSA and TIPTBSB (SQL -117)

Issue/Introduction

Gen BIND PACKAGE job, CEJOB07A, produces DB2 error:

Resolution

The BIND issues for the above packages were all resolved by running CVJOB04B and then rerunning CEJOB07A/CEJOB07B to resolve the problem. Technical documents for Gen 8.6 > Upgrade a Host Encyclopedia state the following under 'Run Upgrade Jobs' :

• CVJOB04A must be run when upgrading Host Encyclopedia from 7/7.5 to 8.6
• CVJOB04B must be run when upgrading the Host Encyclopedia from 7.6 to 8.6
• CVJOB04C is when you are upgrading from release 6.5 to 8.6

Which release you are upgrading from will determine which one of the above jobs should run (CVJOB04A, CEJOB04B, or CEJOB04C) before rerunning the CEJOB07A/CEJOB07B jobs. 

Additional Information

TIPTBAA, TIPTBSA and TIPTBSB packages are for the Public Interface Component.  When installed, the DBRM will be in the CEHBDRBM library.
