Issue/Introduction

Issue/Problem/Symptoms: 

When we run the BIND PACKAGE job, CEJOB07A, we get:

DSNX200I + BIND SQL ERROR 

USING IEF500 AUTHORITY 

PLAN=(NOT APPLICABLE) 

DBRM=TIPTBSA 

STATEMENT=9437212 

SQLCODE=-117 

SQLSTATE=42802 

TOKENS= 

CSECT NAME=DSNXOIN 

RDS CODE=-111 

DSNT233I + UNSUCCESSFUL BIND FOR 

PACKAGE = FLADOTDB2DSNT.IEFCOL01.TIPTBSA.(EHB850-GA) 

What is causing this?

Environment:  

CA GEN release 8.5

Answer: 

These BIND issues for the above packages have been resolved by running CVJOB04B and then rerunning CEJOB07A/CEJOB07B to resolve the problem. If you look under the z/OS Installation Guide manual under 'Run Upgrade Jobs', it states that CVJOB04A must be run when upgrading Host Encyclopedia from 7/7.5 to 8.5. It states that CVJOB04B must be run when upgrading the Host Encyclopedia from 7.6 to 8.5. CVJOB04C is when you are upgrading from release 6.5 to 8.5. So, based on from which release you are upgrading, you will need to run one of the above jobs (CVJOB04A, CEJOB04B, or CEJOB04C), before rerunning the CEJOB07A/CEJOB07B jobs. 

Additional Information:

Your TIPTBAA and TIPTBSA and TIPTBSB packages are indeed for the Public Interface Component.  When installed, the DBRM will be in your CEHBDRBM library.
