Issue/Introduction

Inability to complete ServiceNow integration successfully. 

ServiceNow debug long run log will indicate the following errors in longrun-<date-of-the-log>-ServiceNowAdapter_<increment-log-number>.log 

 

Could not find dependent parent relationship Hosted on::Hosts builtInDatacenter for resource VMWARE VirtualMachine: <VM-NAME-XXXX>. Cannot sync it to the CMDB.

Update failed with error: Commit was not attempted due to other errors, Sys Id: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (1 occurrences)

Cause

Datacenter to VMs relationship duplication within the ServiceNow.

Resolution

The VM Identification configuration needs a modifications within ServiceNow to remove the Datacenter to VM relations. Please reach out to Support.
