VCF Automation Scale out Stuck in Progress

Issue/Introduction

When Scaling out VCF Automation from a single node as a Day 2 Operation in Fleet Manager, it gets stuck In Progress

The VCF Automation appliance was deployed using the VCF Installer

The VCF Automation appliance and the VCF Services Platform Template ( vcf-services-platform-template-9.0.#.#.######## )was moved into another vCenter folder after it was deployed.

Environment

VCF Automation 9.0.x

Cause

The VCF Installer places the appliance and the template into the base folder of the vCenter, and they cannot be moved. 

Resolution

Move the VCF Automation appliance and the VCF Services Platform template ( vcf-services-platform-template-9.0.#.#.######## ) back into the base folder of the vCenter. 

Once they have been restored to their original location, the scale out task will proceed after some time. You should see the new VCF Automation Appliances being created in vCenter after a few minutes.

If the task in Fleet Manager has timed out and failed, click "Retry"
