Issue/Introduction

We are running older Windows N10 monitoring points and are having trouble getting the monitoring point to support our installation of Npcap.  What are the supported versions?

Resolution

AppNeta Native Monitoring points for Windows (N10s) support various releases, depending on the software version of AppNeta N10 that is installed.

If using a Windows NMPs running AppNeta EMP 16.3.x require Npcap library version 1.79 or later.

However AppNeta has improved backwards compatibility in more recent releases.
If using Windows NMPs running AppNeta EMP 16.4.x or later require Npcap library version 1.20 or later.

Therefore we encourage you to use the most recent versions of AppNeta software, in the event you are using older Npcap releases.
