vApps connected to the Organization will be deleted when removing an Organization VDC in VMware Cloud Director

Issue/Introduction

• An organization VDC appears to be empty of vApps and virtual machines.
• When attempting to remove the VDC, the dialog has a checkbox similar to the following:
  
  ## vApps connected to the Organization VDC will be deleted.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

Failures with virtual machines that are auto-imported can cause vApp records to be created that are not visible in the UI. Due to the failures, they are not associated with existing virtual machines and cannot be directly deleted.

Resolution

If the vApps are not accessible via the UI, these can be removed with the VDC by using the checkbox provided.
