In the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Operations Manager UI, the root account for one or more VCF components may display a Disconnected status.
This can be observed by navigating to:
Fleet Management > Password > VCF Management
This issue occurs when the root password of the operating system for the affected VCF components has expired. When the password expires, VCF Operations Manager is unable to authenticate to the component, resulting in the Disconnected status.

Reset the expired root password for the affected VCF component and then remediate the password in the VCF Operations Manager UI.
