SOI services and domain user considerations

Issue/Introduction

Can SOI services be installed/configured/run as a domain, privileged user? 

Environment

SOI 4.3.X

 

Resolution

If the user who was used to configure/run SOI services is a part of the local admin group and has full access to all SOI installation directories, there should not be any problems with the SOI functionality. 

Keep in mind that this has not been tested on larger environments. If you are facing any problems, raise a support case with Broadcom Support.
