Only “Subscriptions” and “Administration” appear in the main menu after logging in to Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

• After logging in to Aria Operations, the main menu displays only “Subscriptions” and “Administration.”
• This occurs even when logging in as an Admin user with full access rights.
  

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18

Cause

The evaluation license, including the 60-day evaluation period, may have expired, or the Aria Operations license key may no longer be valid.

In this state, Aria Operations automatically enters Restricted Mode, providing limited UI access while data collection continues.

Resolution

• Applying for a new license to active Aria Operations at Subscriptions > Legacy Licenses from the left menu.

• Assigned a VVF/VCF solution license at vCenter Server. 
  vSphere Foundation license assigned to vCenter Server is not visible in VMware Aria Operations
