Issue/Introduction

You are having an issue when attempting to export a report from the Information Centric Analytics (ICA) Risk Fabric console. The export function fails and displays the following message:

Request Failed. Your request failed. Click 'OK' to close this window or 'Refresh' to refresh the page. Try again or contact the site administrator.

Error ID: <ID>

The Detail column in the Client_Log table contains the following message corresponding to the error ID from the message displayed in the console:

Status: 500 StatusText: Internal Server Error responseText: {"Message":"An error has occurred."}

The RiskFabric server log contains the following error message:

[140:ERROR] DALException.SaveLog() System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): A severe error occurred on the current command.  The results, if any, should be discarded.
Operation cancelled by user.

Resolution

Restart the RiskFabricAppPool in the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, or restart the World Wide Web Publishing Service on the server hosting IIS.
