Remote Backup user credential update in AVI load balancer UI is not working

Issue/Introduction

Remote backup configuration was enabled on controller with SFTP protocol with an SSH user.

Updating/changing the password of SSH user assigned to Remote backup was not working from AVI Load balancer UI.

Environment

AVI Load Balancer 

Cause

• Navigate to Administration >> User Credentials >> User Credentials 
• When we edit the user assigned to remote backup to update the password there is an option to enter the password.

       

• Once we update the new password SAVE option is not working. 

       

 

Resolution

• Create a new test user and assign to remote backup configuration
• Update the Old user password from tab Administration >> User Credentials >> User Credentials
• Once credentials are assigned revert the remote backup configuration with original/correct user.
